There is no 'magic bullet' for health, rather a multifaceted approach works best in creating positive health outcomes. Water, food, exercise, EESystem.

Beyond the 'quick fix' when it comes to health:

It's tempting in today's world to want the 'quick fix' with our health. If we have a headache, we are more likely to reach for pain relief, than look beyond the symptom, and understand what might be causing the headache in the first place.

Whether it’s the latest supplement, a trendy superfood, or even advanced technologies like the Energy Enhancement System (EESystem), many of us hope for one thing that will make everything better overnight.

Unfortunately, this isn't how our body heals. More importantly, looking for the quick fix often means kicking our health problems down the road. Over and over again, until they become a much bigger giant to slay. I know that was how I lived... but this wasn't truly living now, was it?

The truth is, deep, holistic healing takes time, consistency and often a multifaceted approach. It's not glamorous, or easy, but it is the most worthwhile thing you can invest in! See, you only get 1 body - yet we can treat it like we can trade it in for another model down the line once it breaks.

Lasting health is built on foundations, not fads. It requires consistency, and a multifaceted approach. Just like a house needs a solid base before you can add beautiful finishes, your body needs the basics of diet, movement, hydration, toxin awareness, emotional balance, and mineral support before any advanced therapy can reach its full potential.

The EESystem is a groundbreaking wellness technology that supports cellular repair and energy flow. But its results are most powerful when used alongside these basics.

The purpose of this blog post is to encourage you to not neglect the basics when it comes to your health, as this stacks the card in your favor to lasting, true holistic health and wellness.

A multifaceted approach to health and wellness | Vital Body Wellness Centre

Eating to fuel your body. How important is diet... really?

Now I'm no nutritionist, and it can feel like every diet under the sun has a wide range of studies supporting its efficacy... and denying it completely. The foods which best support on your wellness journey will differ from someone else - but the basics tend to be true in most cases.

One of my favorite ways to look at diet is this - "if you eat whole, fresh, high-quality and unprocessed foods, this will be LIFE for your body". The opposite is true as well, eat dead, processed garbage... and you'll likely feel like death warmed up, sluggish and lethargic.

Our food is designed to fuel the body at a cellular level. Nutrient dense foods can be broken down and drawn upon for different metabolic requirements.

Think of food as building up your energy reserve. If you build the good stuff up, there's plenty of good stuff to draw from when your body needs it!

Nutrition is the cornerstone of health. Every single cell in your body relies on the nutrients you provide through food. If your diet is heavy in processed products, refined sugars, and chemical additives, your body spends precious energy simply trying to cope.

As a general guide not intended to be health advice in anyway, I focus on whole, unprocessed foods:

  • Plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits.

  • High-quality proteins like grass-fed meat, eggs.

  • Healthy fats such as avocado, olive oil, and nuts, greek yoghurt.

  • Unrefined carbs like quinoa, and sweet potato.

When you fuel your body with clean nutrition, you provide the building blocks for repair, energy, and resilience. This sets the stage for the EESystem to amplify your healing capacity, as your body won’t be working in survival mode but instead in thriving mode.

Eat good, feel good - your body will love you for it! Oh, and how important is it really? Well, look at it this way:

If you put the wrong fuel in your car, you'll destroy your engine.

Movement is medicine: How important is exercise?

Our bodies were designed to move. Regular exercise does far more than tone muscles; it improves circulation, balances hormones, reduces stress, and stimulates lymphatic flow — which is key for detoxification.

The best part? You don’t need to become a marathon runner, body builder or be athletic. Consistency beats intensity for general health. Try incorporating:

  • Strength training to support bone density and metabolism

  • Cardio activity such as brisk walking, swimming, or cycling for heart health

  • Mobility work like yoga, stretching, or Pilates to keep joints working well!

Movement helps oxygen and nutrients reach your cells, optimises detox pathways, and elevates your mood. When paired with EESystem sessions, exercise enhances the flow of life force energy and supports your body’s natural ability to heal.

One other thing it can help with is improving the flow of your lymphatic system (skipping, walking, or bouncing). The lymphatic system is your body's waste removal pathway, like taking out the trash.

When it flows, your body can deliver nutrients throughout the body, and more importantly remove the stuff that doesn't belong. Implementing jumping, or walking can be a huge boost overall to your function.

Start small, and consistent. Watch what happens!

Hydration: The Power of Water

Water is life. Every metabolic process in your body requires hydration, yet many people are unknowingly dehydrated. Common signs include fatigue, headaches, poor concentration, and sluggish digestion.

Did you know that dry lips is one of the 'last signs' of dehydration? Yikes!

Mineral-rich, clean water supports cellular communication, electrolyte balance, and detoxification. Tap water often contains chlorine, fluoride, and other contaminants that burden the body. Using filters or choosing spring water can make a significant difference. We love the filters from alkaway.

Hydration is also critical for those using the EESystem. Energy flow and detoxification increase during sessions, and without proper water intake, the body can’t flush toxins effectively.

Again, water is life... don't neglect the importance of drinking water for overall health!

Reducing Environmental Toxins

The EESytem itself relies on this idea of 'synchronising with our environment. In the case of the EESystem, we spend time in the energetic environment generated by the system to boost innate healing, and cellular charge.

Once we leave however, it is imperative for the longevity of the benefits from the system to be mindful of the environments we're exposed to.

Our modern environment exposes us to countless toxins every day. While we can’t live in a bubble, being mindful about reducing exposure can dramatically improve health outcomes.

Below are some of the examples of toxins to watch out for - limiting your exposure to these things can greatly protect the internal environment in your body!

Diet-related toxins

  • Pesticides, food additives, preservatives, and artificial colours all stress the body.

    • Choose organic foods, ensuring to read the label on the back, not just the front.

Air quality

  • Indoor air can be more polluted than outdoor air. Mould, dust, and chemical cleaners add to the load.

Water contaminants

  • Tap water often carries heavy metals, fluoride, chlorine, and microplastics.

    • Invest in a high-quality water filter for peace of mind.

By reducing these exposures, you give your body more capacity to heal — and the EESystem can then act as a supportive amplifier rather than competing with external stressors.

Emotional Health & Trauma

We cannot ignore the mind-body connection. Unresolved trauma, chronic stress, and emotional wounds often manifest as physical illness. Stress hormones like cortisol suppress immunity, interfere with sleep, and drain the nervous system.

We see it often with our HRV-Scans here at the centre where it shows how your nervous system is functioning. Often, we see overactive Central Nervous Systems, indicating high prolonged levels of psycho-emotional stress.

Often, this 'unseen' aspect of our health is overlooked. It is crucial to consider the emotional / mental side of our human condition and how that can interplay with our overall health. There is a great video below explaining how our emotions and mental health can lead to beneficial, or poor health outcomes:

Practical tools for emotional healing include:

  • Breathwork to regulate the nervous system

  • Journaling to process emotions

  • Therapy or counselling for trauma release

  • Energy healing or meditation to restore calm and perspective

EESystem sessions often provide a deeply restful state that allows old stress patterns to surface and release. When emotional healing is combined with this restorative frequency environment, the results can be profound.

Mineral Levels: The Missing Piece

Minerals are the spark plugs of life. Magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium, zinc, and trace minerals regulate everything from nerve impulses to muscle contractions and enzyme function.

The problem? Modern farming practices have depleted soils, meaning even whole foods often lack the mineral density they once had. This makes supplementation and mindful mineral intake essential.

Ways to support mineral balance:

  • Add mineral drops or electrolytes to your water

  • Use quality sea salt instead of refined table salt

  • Prioritise mineral-rich foods such as leafy greens, seeds, nuts, and seafood

  • Consider regular testing for mineral imbalances

We sell amazing Quinton water and fulvic trace element suppliments on our online store, both amazing ways to boost the mineral content within!

When your mineral levels are optimal, your body can detoxify, repair, and generate energy efficiently. This dramatically enhances the restorative potential of the EESystem.

The EESystem as a Multiplier

It’s important to clarify: the EESystem is not a magic bullet. It’s a wellness technology designed to amplify your body’s natural ability to heal.

Think of it like sunlight for a garden. If the soil is depleted, the plants are overrun with weeds, and there’s no water, sunlight alone won’t create a thriving garden. But when the basics are in place — healthy soil, hydration, care — sunlight transforms the entire ecosystem.

The EESystem works the same way. When you align your diet, exercise, hydration, toxin reduction, emotional health, and mineral balance, the system helps accelerate repair, deep rest, and rejuvenation. Clients often find that by addressing the basics, their results in the EESystem are deeper, faster, and longer lasting.

There’s no shortcut to health. Diet, exercise, hydration, toxin awareness, emotional balance, and minerals are the real “pillars” of lasting wellness. Advanced tools like the EESystem are most effective when built on this foundation.

If you’ve been searching for a quick fix, this is your reminder that the basics are the magic.

The simplest habits, practised consistently, make the biggest difference in how you feel, heal, and thrive.
